Erin’s Story – “I Thought you might like this, I payed $165 for this dress and it looked nothing like the picture. I managed to get my money back when the seller accidentally refunded the full amount; however, he then harassed me for his money back. He saw nothing wrong with the dress saying that ‘it was fine.’ As these pictures show it obviously wasn’t. You can see that the bust is cut very short at the side to the point that my breasts were exposed at the sides.”
The first picture Erin sent us shows the dress advertised on the website vs what came. (No, a hoop skirt will not save this nightmare.)
The next picture is from inside the bust area. Stitching elastic on the back side is NOT how material is gathered.
Another way these sites cut corners to produce a cheap dress is in the boning, or lack theerof. This dress has no boning for structure. The original dress is very structured through the bust and waist. The knock off is just a floppy mess.
Thankfully, for Erin, she ended up finding her dream dress and, as this last picture shows, looked absolutely stunning!
